Follow the steps to hide or show WhatsApp Media in Gallery.
- Open “WhatsApp” & Go to “Settings”
- Select the “Chats” option from there.
Here you will see the Media Visibility option at the last as shown in the image below. 
Check that box if you want to show your WhatsApp Media like Photos, and videos in your Phone’s Gallery.
If you want to hide your WhatsApp media from your smartphone’s gallery, just uncheck the box and refresh the gallery. You will see the media you have received in your WhatsApp will be hidden.
Hiding/Showing Individual Chat Media from Gallery
If you want to hide or show media from an individual or specific person, you can also do that. Just follow the steps below to do so.
Open WhatsApp & Select Chat/Person/Group which Media do you want to hide? Now you will see the Media Visibility option.
Tap on the Media Visibility Option to select your option. Here it will show the default value selected.
Default – If you have selected hide, it will be No by default. If you have selected Show, it will be yes by default.
Yes – indicates that your media is visible in your phone gallery
No – Indicates that your media is not visible in your phone’s gallery.
It is very important when you have any specific group sharing adult images or adult videos on it. You can disable those specific groups/people’s WhatsApp media in the Gallery using the above tutorial.
