Want to disable or enable WhatsApp check marks? It’s called Whatsapp read receipt. Whatsapp was updated with a read receipt for users recently, which feature lets you find out whether your recipient has read your sent messages or not. Until today, there was no option to enable or disable it.
However, the updated Whatsapp version allows you to disable read receipts to your recipients. It would be the best privacy setting; you can disable it to prevent someone from tracking you that you are reading his or her messages.

How to Enable or Disable WhatsApp Checkmarks
- First, go to settings on your WhatsApp.
- After that, you will find a profile, account, chat setting, etc. Select Account Option from there.
- Under the account setting, you will see the privacy setting.
- From there, you will see the read receipt option.
If you uncheck the Whatsapp Read Notification receipt option, you will not be able to see read receipts from other people.
